Dr. Seuss was a champion

of the environment, and this was reflected in one of his most controversial books, The Lomax, published in 1971. He pointed quite accurately at the logging industry, and clarified for children the irrevocable harm the logging industry was doing to our planet. Even after three decades, it still resonates:
